Twiggy is a medium-large girl, the mum of the original 7 bucket pups, Millie's sister and Luna's daughter. The start of life wasn't too kind on her, but SBAH volunteers were determined to change her perceptions and teach her that humans could be phenomenal companions. She lived on the streets of the Algarve with her pack and it took our big-hearted and persistent volunteers a couple of months to manage to bring her to safety. Now Twiggy opened up, trusts people, loves going for walks and enjoys human and dog company. It's neither the first nor the last case, where we brought out of shell a shy girl and turned her into this friendly doggie by showing her love.
